Algoz is a small village in the Silves department, on the northern side of the Algarve region, situated in a valley with the lovely presence of the Algoz river.
Was once an important Moorish settlement, as it was quite close to the much important Moorish Silves.
Nowadays Algoz is a rural small village that has been apart from the urban and touristic development of the Algarve in the past decades, far from the coastline.
Algoz is proud of its mother Church, the São Sebastião Chapel, the 1704 Communitarian Barn, the Nossa Senhora do Pilar Chapel, nowadays abandoned and the Rural Museum along with the Botanical Garden of the Avós Estate, with interesting ethnographic collections as well as cultural activities.
Thank's very much,no problems,on time,excellent,will use again.
We recently used Algarve Faro Airport transfers to take us to and from Praia de Rocha. We had same driver on both journeys and I am only sorry we can't remember his name as
Excellent service. Reliable, punctual and drivers who are courteous friendly and efficient. Nice comfortable cars. Really great service.
